Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed audits of financial records, transactions, and supporting documentation.
- Review and assess financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other relevant financial reports for accuracy and compliance with regulations and policies.
- Perform internal control testing to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of financial processes and systems.
- Identify and investigate any discrepancies, errors, or irregularities in financial records.
- Document audit findings, prepare reports, and present recommendations for improvements to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to obtain necessary information and support during the audit process.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, legal requirements, and company policies.
- Assist in the development and improvement of audit procedures, methodologies, and internal controls.
- Stay updated with changes in auditing standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in auditing or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of auditing principles, procedures, and techniques.
- Proficiency in using software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Previous experience in auditing financial records and internal controls is highly desirable.
