Are you a detail-oriented and driven accountant seeking a new challenge in your career? Our client is looking for an Accountant to join their finance team. As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. If you have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for numbers, we want to hear from you!
 
Responsibilities:
 
  1. Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable.
  2. Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  3. Perform account reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies or variances.
  4. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  5. Conduct financial analysis and provide insights on financial performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
  6. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with the finance team and department managers.
  7. Support the implementation and improvement of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  9. Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and standards and ensure compliance.
  10. Assist with audits, providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
 
Qualifications:
 
  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 1 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
  3. CPA designation or progress towards CPA certification is preferred
  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  5. Proficiency in using accounting software include Dynamics 365 and SAP
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  7. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and
