Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager // Exciting territory leading delicious tastings and wine pairings educating On & Off-Premise customers.

My client is a global FMCG business who have an impressive portfolio of brands in the everyday, premium and non-alcoholic wine category. With a fantastic significant presence and market share across the on & off premise channels, they are a driving force when it comes to strategic trade activity which has resulted in continuous growth opportunities, both locally & globally.


About the role

Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, this business-critical role will be responsible for managing Retail, National Chain & On-Premise customers across a lucrative Sydney metro territory. You will take the lead in your territory, managing the state as your own. This customer centric position is a true area management position, responsible for the development of customer planning including management of joint business planning, promotional activity, activations, and merchandising. Working in liquor don’t forget the perks… you will collaborate with your on-premise customers organising tasting sessions, wine pairing dinners and new product workshops… delicious! You will collaborate internally with the wider business to identify opportunities.


Skills & experience

Success in this role will come from demonstrated Territory Manager, Business Development or Field Sales Representative experience from within the FMCG industry – liquor experience will be advantageous but is not a deal breaker. You will have managed commercial customer relationships with strong commercial success and sales planning process, accompanied with excellent reporting and forecasting management. You are a dynamic people person, and pride yourself on your outstanding communication and authenticity. Lastly, you are a WINE PERSON … whether you classify yourself as a connoisseur or a happy consumer either is highly welcomed!
