With a global network of over 400 facilities totalling over 2 billion cubic feet which spans 20 countries across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and South America. The Asia Pacific region currently includes Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Singapore, with approximately 2000 employees.
 
About the role

Reporting to the GM of Business Development, Australia, you will be an integral part of the business development leadership team, ensuring the sustainable growth of existing and new customer accounts. Your primary focus will be to oversee the effective relationship management of their Brisbane & Sydney facilities' extensive customer base, development within their accounts and the identification of new business opportunities.
 
Duties
  • Continually pursuing and winning new warehouse & transport business that is aligned with business goals and strategy.
  • Planning, costing and negotiating new business proposals, including presentation of proposals to management & customers.
  • Developing an in-depth understanding of customer profiles to identify new opportunities and drive growth.
  • Ensuring current contracts are managed in a way which meets customer expectations via agreed objectives.
  • Identifying & implementing on-going business and Account Management improvements to support business growth and excellence in customer service. 
 
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within a 3PL environment.
  • Extensive experience of customer management and the ability to provide end-to-end supply chain solutions within a 3PL environment.
  • Excellent understanding of supply chain & logistics operating models.
  • Strong process and analytical focus: you have a track record of supporting recommendations with data and competent research and market insights.
  • Sound consulting skills and ability to work across multiple business functions and levels.
Ultimately, you are self-motivated and like to keep your finger on the pulse when it comes to understanding customer profiles, building engagement and driving sales.
