Replenishment Coordinator

About the Company:

About the Position: 
The purpose of this role is to assist with the procurement of inventory items, consumables and services for the entire site. This role will raise purchase orders; manage supplier relationships and maintain a product and supplier database.

Role and Responsibilities: 
  • Assist creation and implementation of agreed procurement policies
  • Initiate, monitor and report on controls in manual and system processes
  • Manage and maintain product trackers
  • Prepare and manage requests for purchase proposals
  • Recommend sources of supply and obtain quotations for materials, equipment and supplies requested according to specifications received from field and workshop operations, Office operations, site operations and production.
  • Assist in reducing the total cost of ownership for materials procurement across the site
  • Assist sourcing activity through direct negotiation and formal RFP processes when directed.
  • Assist in sourcing new suppliers locally and globally to deliver best possible    outcomes whilst minimising supply risk.
  • Analyse consumption data to determine replenishment stock orders
  • Create and maintain accurate records of stock usage and consumption
  • Produce purchase orders for replenishment stock referring to price lists, preferred supply contracts
  • Create expected receipts for warehousing system
  • Assist in weekly, monthly and annual stock take
  • Create activity reports and delivery schedules

Skills & Experience: 
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar procurement role in an FMCG/Manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated track record of managing supplier relationships 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong understanding and experience in tendering and procurement principles and processes, including contract law and it’s application.
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting, analysing and reporting data
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills, Advanced Excel 
  • Experience with integrated ERP system
