The Opportunity
 
This in an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Commercial Analyst to join the finance team of this highly recognised global retail brand. Supporting a range of internal stakeholders, including the senior leadership team, store managers and the commercial team, this role will partner with the business to help them achieve their strategic goals and facilitate informed decision making.
 
The role
 
As a true business partner, with a passion for financial reporting, data, analytics and insights, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
 
  • Deliver timely and accurate budgets and forecasts.
  • Prepare financial models to monitor and report on business performance & assessing business risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive improvements and gain process efficiencies.
  • Prepare financial models for capital investment proposals for new store openings and upgrades.
  • Build business partnering relationships with various stakeholders.
 
You
 
The ideal candidate will already have 2-3 years of relevant analytical experience and an understanding of the P&L. With an interest in studying towards your CA/CPA qualification, you will have an inquisitive mind, you will possess strong modelling skills using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools such as Power BI. While an understanding of the retail or hospitality industry would be beneficial, candidates from other industries are encouraged to apply.
