About The Company
With a history that spans more than 70 years, our client is recognised for innovative technology that will drive great health outcomes for every single person in the community. As part of a multinational corporation, they are experiencing phenomenal growth in Australia, Europe, and USA.
About the Role
Reporting through to the Compliance Manager, this is a critical role for the business, as the growth of the business is intrinsically linked to all product compliance for National and International standards. You will be responsible for maintaining the compliance register and certification database, you will work closely with the R&D and Quality teams supporting them on NPD and continuous improvement projects.
Skills and Experience
The expectation is that you would have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in compliance and approvals, and a strong technical knowledge of product certification processes and schemes. The successful candidate needs to be able to maintain the certification registers, analyse compliance data and generate compliance reports, and provide regulatory engineering support according to Australian and International standards for new and existing products within the portfolio. With several product launches each year, it is important to meet the speed of the market and keep up to date with any changes within the federal or state laws. Ideally, you will have an engineering or scientific background, having worked in a manufacturing environment or specifically appliance manufacturing, or a standardisation agency. Any working knowledge of approvals in water or electrical systems, such as WaterMark, WELS, would be advantageous. Collaboration, clear communication, enthusiasm and being self-directed is important, and strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask and meet key milestones, is essential.
Benefits
In return, you will be rewarded with an attractive salary package and bonus structure. You will be part of a small team within a well-established business, that is progressive and growing rapidly both locally and Internationally.
