About the Role
This newly created Innovation Manager role sits within the pet side of the business and will take complete ownership of the innovation pipeline, brand positioning and packaging sustainability projects. This is a functional management level role, where you will be managing projects and be able to influence and guide multiple peers. You will be leading and improving the NPD stage gate process and have decision making authority over this, the pipeline and packaging. You will work closely with manufacturing and logistics teams to ensure project delivery on time and work with external suppliers. A key focus of this role is the sustainability aspect and working on solutions to sustainability challenges with regards to packaging.
About You
To succeed in this role, you must have in depth experience of NPD and innovation project management and this will have been a focal point of your previous roles. You will have a passion for animals and the drive to want to immerse yourself in this industry and develop products with quality at the forefront. You must have strong cross-functional management and stakeholder engagement skills and enjoy working with factories and manufacturing teams. You will be open minded, autonomous and outcomes focussed to be successful in this role.
