Company Overview:
Our client is an iconic Australian supplier based in Melbourne's Northern suburbs. They have a number of sites nationally and require an experienced Demand and Supply planning professional to join the team to support the end to end planning and procurement function.

Position Overview:
As the Demand and Supply planner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust Integrated Business Planning process that integrates demand planning, supply planning, financial planning, and sales and operations planning. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment across all aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the S&OP/IBP process, tools, and systems to enhance business performance and drive operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather inputs, analyse data, and generate accurate demand forecasts to support effective supply planning and inventory management.
  • Lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, facilitating regular meetings, reviewing performance metrics, identifying gaps, and recommending actions to optimize business outcomes.
  • Assist in the education of the Trading Division in planning and procurement methodologies, supporting ERP functions and best practice supply chain initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Mandarin/Cantonese speaking fluency is adventagious. 
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in an IBP, S&OP, demand planning, or supply chain planning role, preferably in a fast-paced and complex business environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
