Our Client
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Demand Planner to join a well-known global consumer goods company. This opportunity will see you getting involved in the commercials and having exposure to different parts of the business.
 
Working along another Demand Planner with 80% of this role will be demand planning & 20% supply planning. Your main responsibilities for the role are:
  • Analyse historical data, trend analysis and product life cycles
  • Provide clear and accurate reports and 12 month forecasts
  • Manage and lead IBP cycle and meetings
  • Work with the Sales Team on new products and promotions
  • Identify and lead the continuous improvement of demand management practices
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Extract and utilise raw data from SAP
 
This opportunity will suit someone from a demand planning background who is looking to diversify their planning skills and gain exposure to supply planning or someone with both supply and demand planning experience.
 
This role is based in Macquarie Park with hybrid working and free on site parking.
 
About you
You will be an experienced Demand Planner who will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Strong analytical capabilities and comfortable forecasting in excel
  • Strategic view of planning
  • Excellent stakeholder management, organisation and influencing skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset
  • Proactive communication and data driven decision-making skills
