About the role
Reporting to the Head of eCommerce, your main responsibility will be to maintain and optimise all digital touchpoints of their website and email campaigns. Your goal will be to deliver exceptional design and functionality to achieve maximum conversion and customer retention. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about eCommerce, website design, and thrives on challenges.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop intuitive UX/UI solutions to enhance website user experience (Shopify 2.0).
  • Create and communicate UX wireframes, user flows, and sketches.
  • Apply user-centered design principles for target audience understanding.
  • Collaborate with eCommerce team for optimised onsite trading assets.
  • Design and build email creatives for BAU and automated campaigns.
  • Analyse data to provide actionable recommendations for design and content.
  • Continuously optimise website and email designs for better performance.
  • Conduct usability test and gather user feedback on new features.
  • Design visually appealing and conversion-focused digital assets.
  • Stay updated on digital trends and competitors for performance improvement.
  • Collaborate with digital agencies to manage projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ensure accurate and timely products and content launches.
  • Support the creative team with ad hoc design requests.
 
Requirements:
  • Tertiary degree in Design or related.
  • Min 3+ years of experience in UX or digital design
  • Experience in working for Ecommerce/ online businesses is a MUST.
  • Familiarity with Emarsys CRM platform is highly regarded.
  • Commercially minded with knowledge of conversion tactics in design
  • Solid experience working with Shopify.
  • Strong visual and interaction design skills
  • Intermediate understanding of ecommerce-relevant analytics
  • Ability to collaborative effectively with cross functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Innovative, resourceful, and adaptable.
  • Experience with Figma and coding basic skills are highly advantageous.
