Our client is an established Australian food manufacturing business with a portfolio of iconic brands that you know and love. With over 500 people nationwide, the company has a strong foothold in the local FMCG manufacturing scene.
The Opportunity
Currently the business is building a new state-of-the-art manufacturing and distribution centre in Sydney. This is a 30,000+ sqm facility with a lot of automation and new technologies being brought in. This is a rare opportunity to join this business on the front foot of massive change in the manufacturing environment. With a total project value of $300M+ and an exciting roadmap ahead of capital works, the team is in the market looking for a number of new project engineers and project managers to join the Capital Works team.
As a Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for managing and overseeing special projects as part of the Capital Works function's strategy. This role is focused on the mechanical and process control aspects of the projects. The majority of your role will involve collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver on the projects, however there may be a small amount of people management in the future as well.
This role will be based out of Orchard Hills, NSW (Western Sydney).

- Develop project budget and timeline.
- Manage the project from concept through development and implementation stages.
- Determine project resourcing requirements.
- Develop and manage capital project plan progress reports.
- Prepare budgets and timelines associated with new processes.
- Mentoring junior Project Managers and Project Engineers.
This role will be based out of Orchard Hills, NSW (Western Sydney).
Skill and Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years' industry experience in a Project Management role in another FMCG food processing environment.
- Tertiary qualification or relevant equivalent industry experience in an engineering or technical discipline working with processing and packaging machinery.
- Ability to design processes from scratch while getting into the finer detail.
