About the Role
Reporting through to the Head of Global Quality, the focus of this role is to identify and execute solutions for thermal processing, foster a culture of continuous improvements and drive project outcomes. This is a strategic role to identify, analyse and evaluate effectiveness of current business processes that are in scope of the Food Safety and Quality Management System. They are seeking someone who has the industry experience in food manufacturing and can move from a QC to a QA approach. Functional leadership around driving the implementation of emerging technologies would be highly regarded as well as upskilling in LEAN and PM knowledge.
Skills and Experience
• Minimum 10+ years' experience in development, coordination, and implementation of programs into manufacturing processes.
• Experience and ownership in change management and performance improvement
• A track record in delivering and influencing others to deliver to defined milestones and deadlines.
• Functional leadership around emerging technologies and their application, including analytical, data management, product life cycle management technologies and rapid methods.
• Continuous Improvement projects identified, managed, and delivered to agreed business aligned outcomes.
• The ability to lead the investigation into best practice fumigation globally including the identification of alternative fumigants, technologies, and cost effectiveness. Agricultural sector experience ideal.
