Being a produce business, it is all about quality, which makes this new role an exciting one that is deeply connected to their brand, their customers, and their people.
About the role
You'll be accountable for product quality from farm to customer and everywhere in-between, through manufacturing and supply - quality is a part of everything they do. It will see you managing a large team across quality assurance and control and over multiple geographies, setting the tone and aligning accountability with outcome, as well as being a custodian for the quality culute right through the company. You'll ensure their systems are fit for purpose and that continuous improvement is inherent. Critically, you'll develop a proactive relationship with key customers and connect what is happening at the agronomy level to manage customer expectations, and to negotiate the produce certifications balancing customer and commercial outcomes. There is some limited interstate travel in the role but you do have a lot of control over when it occurs.

About you
We're looking for a capable leader with a technical background, from the FMCG industry.
- Relevant tertiary degree (science, food science or technology, engineering)
- Experience in a people leadership role within any FMCG category
- Experience managing QA for at least a single site (but ideally multiple)
- Strong commercial acumen - experience leading commercial discussions with customers
