Job Description:

As our Technology Category Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement and management of technology-related products and services. You will play a pivotal role in driving our technology sourcing strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the technology market, and a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective category strategies for technology products and services.
  • Conduct market analysis and stay updated with the latest industry trends and innovations.
  • Identify and onboard reputable technology vendors, negotiating favourable terms and service agreements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technology requirements and align procurement strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost optimisation efforts within the technology category.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in technology sourcing or category management
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with relevant software and technology solutions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
