The company: I’m currently working with a well-known national company who operate in the retail sector who are looking to bring in an experienced Logistics Manager who will be responsible for leading a small team of direct reports and the teams beneath them.
The role: Working as the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional leadership to your team and playing a leading role in optimising the logistics processes and looking for continuous improvement. You will also be targeted on cost optimisation and overseeing the performance of the 3PL partner.
Success profile: The ideal candidate will have experience in managing the relationship and performance level of a 3PL. They will have recently been working in the Food industry and will take a hands-on approach when driving ground operations. You’ll have managed large teams in the past and have strong stakeholder management skills.
