About the role:
The Business Development Manager is responsible to for driving business sales & growth, develop a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and oversee projects, present product. With a concentration on Tier 1 and tier 2 clients.
Duties
- Identify opportunities to increase sales revenue through client account growth and new client acquisition.
- Regularly engage with existing customers to build high trust relationships, enabling them to deliver solutions that exceed client expectations and position them as the key supplier for all clients’ projects.
- Undertake quarterly competitor market and broader industry reviews to identify opportunities to grow their market share.
- Identify and execute opportunities to showcase their product suite to current and potential customers (i.e.product awareness / orientation workshops, conferences).
- Identify and lead tender submission requests in line with their product and service suite.
- In conjunction with the Executive and local sales team/s, identify opportunities to partner with external suppliers tothe industry that are complementary to their product suit, in order to increase market share and reputation as a premium supplier to the industry.
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders at various level of industry and government.
- Ability to work autonomously in a well-planned and organised manner.
- Self-motivated with a desire to dominate the market through exceptional customer understanding and service; sound commercial acumen and judgement; and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience using Microsoft and the ability to use various business software systems for example MS Office suite, BCI or Corelogic or Estimate One.
