We're seeking a seasoned and energetic Project Administrator to join a family-owned construction company located in Thomastown. In this role, you'll hold a pivotal position within the Finance function and will provide crucial support to the Financial Controller and Project Management team. Your responsibilities will span a wide range of tasks, including project administration, internal and external reporting, and cost analysis.

With a 65-year legacy in the industry, our client is well established and has a boasting workforce of 170 dedicated employees. This position offers an exciting and dynamic work environment, as it involves overseeing an average of 150 active projects concurrently.

Key Responsabilties: 
  • Process purchase orders and code invoices.
  • Update and maintain in-field timesheets.
  • Create and maintain project details, codes, dates, and resources.
  • Communicate documentation to clients.
  • Handle internal requests and liaise with clients/consultants.
  • Manage certifications and authorizations.
  • Ensure accuracy and closure of outstanding orders.
  • Facilitate completion of essential project documents.
  • Schedule and input claims.
  • Collect and consolidate data for reports.
  • Maintain filing systems.
  • Assist with budgeting and reporting.
  • Assist with Accounts Payable duties and data entry when required.

Key Criteria:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in providing project administration within the construction or engineering sector.
  • Excellant time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Must be flexible and responsive to a changing work enviroment.
  • Advanced in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • A can do attitude and a one team mindset is esssential.
