About the role:
The role of Chief Financial Officer has primary responsibility for the financial leadership, strategy and reporting requirements of the company. This will include financial strategy and planning, financial operational management, compliance and risk management and investor relations. 
 
Key responsibilities include:
  • Play a key role in the formulation of the business strategy, providing sound financial support and insights to enable the CEO and Board to make critical business decisions.
  • Lead and develop a high performing finance team to support the business.
  • Work with the Executive Leadership team to analyse the operational performance of the business and identify opportunities for improved financial performance and system enhancement.
  • Lead M&A assessments, due diligence, legal and accounting.
  • Present financial results and insights to the Board and Audit and Risk Committee.
  • Manage relationships with external parties including auditors, ASX, banks, investors.
  • Oversee the financial reporting for the organisation. This includes monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, 3-year financial plans and all statutory financial reporting.
  • Oversee commercial decision making from tender analysis, margin analysis, pricing analysis.
  • Lead the risk framework, ensuring robust risk management.
 
About you:  
  • Financial leadership experience in an ASX business.
  • A passionate, positive leader who can understand the needs of a growth agenda in the health sector, with a track record in a growth agenda including M&A.
  • Proven experience managing risk, governance and ESG frameworks.
  • Agile approach, demonstrating impact at the strategic, commercial and operational levels.
  • CA or CPA qualifications.
  • Previous experience in the health sector would be highly regarded.
