Their diverse product line encompasses Side, Rear, and Front Loader Refuse Machines, Compact & Truck Mounted Road Sweepers, Stationary & Transportable Compactors, and Vacuum Tankers.
 
Role Overview:
As a pivotal member of our Engineering team, you will be tasked with designing and optimising engineering solutions for vacuum tanker equipment. Your primary focus will be on refreshing and revising existing drawings. Subsequently, you will collaborate closely with the engineering team to enhance product functionality, introduce modular design, and improve manufacturability. You will play a crucial role in working alongside workshop personnel, resolving technical challenges, and aiding in production. Furthermore, you will partner with application and systems engineers, providing vital technical support to Operations and Customer Service. This thrilling opportunity is based in Bendigo.
 
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update CAD models and drawings to meet industry standards.
  • Design continuous improvement solutions.
  • Review opportunities for cost reduction through design, process, and supply chain enhancements.
  • Support and actively participate in product development projects.
  • Complete chassis preparations in accordance with compliance regulations and guidelines.
 
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 2+ years experience in a design engineering position.
  • Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks and AutoCAD).
  • Industry knowledge in municipal, agricultural, or automotive sectors (Highly Desirable).
  • Strong design experience and expertise in body mounting to cab chassis.
  • Familiarity with industry guidelines and standards.
  • Team player with vision, adding significant value through individual work.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels, both internal and external to the organization.
