About the Company

Our client is considered the crème de la crème within this high growth and lucrative consumer category. Further, they are a challenger Australian brand that is committed to championing sustainable and ethical farming produce and practices. Thanks to strong national performance, and growing international appetite, our client seeks a Global Head of Marketing to join their scaling operation.

About the Role

In this newly created role, the Global Head of Marketing will be responsible for everything digital and offline, but with a major focus on the continued growth of ecommerce nationally and internationally. As the business also looks to strengthen their footprint across other channels, like retail and grocery, they seek a brand-centric marketeer who can bring their story even further to life.

With a lean team of marketeers and various agency relationships supporting the brands operations, the Global Head of Marketing will be responsible for building capability within this cohort, while also in time, building out the function further, as determined by brand performance and regional requirement. In addition, this role will routinely work alongside and present to executive board members, so a confident and credible approach to communication and the influencing of senior stakeholders is of the essence in order to be considered.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience working within a high growth consumer good category, ideally built within a D2C business
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and deploying digital marketing strategies that focus on customer acquisition and retention
  • Prior experience in team building and mentoring, as well as assessing and managing agency relationships
  • Exceptional communication, influencing and relationship building ability
  • A balanced commercial and creative approach to marketing, teamed with a resilient and curious personality

Culture

Despite this business already being considered Australian FMCG success story, they are still early in their journey, and determined to scale their brand footprint and operations locally, and further afield. To that end, the business is filled with dedicated and passionate personnel, who possess big picture vision, but real-time, hands-on abilities. The business is entering a period of operational and financial sophistication, so this is an exciting time to join a business that continues to grow in terms of headcount, but also capability.
