About the role
As a Technical Manager for our client, you will play a vital role in direct assistance and support to customers regarding our clients' chemicals and isolation tanks. Your role involves utilizing your technical expertise to address customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
 
Key Duties:
  • Customer Assistance: You will be the main point of contact for customers seeking support related to our clients' chemicals and isolation tanks. Promptly respond to customer inquiries, providing accurate and helpful information to address their concerns.
  • Troubleshooting: Utilize your technical knowledge to diagnose and resolve customer issues effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and technicians, to identify and implement solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our clients' chemicals and isolation tanks, including their features, applications, and potential challenges. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to provide informed recommendations and guidance to customers.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded. Proactively engage with customers to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and provide personalized recommendations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions. Generate reports to track customer support metrics, identify trends, and propose strategies for enhancing customer satisfaction.
 
About you
This is an initial contract role (12 months in duration) with a chance of becoming made permanent or extended so we're looking for someone with the following:
  • The ability to commit to a 12-month contract period.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a Process/Mechanical engineer preferably in a similar industry and exposure to isolation tanks and chemicals.
  • Travel is required monthly but is a great opportunity for you to visit sites outside of Melbourne.
