Machine Learning Engineer
Our client is an iconic Australian brand; established over a century ago they have created a retail concept that is accessible to everyone. The Machine Learning Engineer will support the Data and Analytics strategic agenda. Working closely with data engineering and the broader analytics team, this role will deliver productionised analytics solutions.
Forming part off a large and successful team, this role has a large element of hands-on software engineering as well as data collection, data quality assessments, data integration, statistical modelling, process automation, data engineering and data architecture.
Day-to-day responsibilities will also include:
For your application to be successful, you will have business and collaboration skills and be responsive to service needs and operational demands. In addition, you will have experience with NLP and image processing, fluency with RESTful API, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes. You will also have experience with machine learning frameworks, libraries, and distributed computing systems, working with Agile processes and practices and experience working with cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure or GCP).

- Develop extensible reusable machine learning pipelines consisting of multiple acquisition sources and integrate into use case driven endpoints.
- Extend existing machine learning libraries and frameworks.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to map data fields and prepare data for use in advanced analytical models.
