About the Company
We have partnered with Lotus Bakeries, an international, dynamic and sustainable player in the FMCG industry. The role is working specifically on the Biscoff portfolio consisting of spreads, cookies and ice creams. The Australian market is a key focus for the company having grown rapidly in the last few years with huge plans moving forward. Whilst they will continue to utilise their local distributor relationship, they are looking for a Trade Marketer to join their close-knit Australian team.
About the Role
The Junior Trade Marketing Manager will have a very broad role working across key projects and will gain exposure to every step of the product lifecycle from development through to on-shelf. This person will be heavily involved in range review preparation, analytics and creating commercial shopper marketing plans and campaigns. The role will involve product launches into grocery channels and the activations around this, as well as creating the best possible promotional calendar. This person will be involved in ensuring stock reaches the shelves based on demand and supply and overcome challenges faced with supply chain. The Junior Trade Marketing Manager will utilise data to make decisions on campaigns based on what will deliver the best ROI.
About You
To be considered for this role you will need an understanding of FMCG and retail environments from a marketing perspective, and be able to demonstrate experience executing campaigns, ideally in a shopper/trade marketing capacity. You will be commercially minded and entrepreneurial as this is a unique role working in a small office and team but on a large global brand. You will have ideally come from an SME or scaled up business to suit the structure and growth projections for the ANZ business and will be able to work to global guidelines whilst having a strong influence and creative input on localisation in Australia.
