Six Degrees Executive has exclusively partnered with a well-known hardware supplier, working with builders to provide a variety of materials. They are a national brand, with over 1,500 employees. Reporting to the CIO, you will form part of the Technology leadership team and will lead five direct reports who are based at both their eastern suburbs HQ, and regional Victoria.

This role will join an established and robust team, the Service Delivery Manager will play a pivotal role in staff management, compliance monitoring, and overseeing projects. Providing service management functions, being the point of contact for operational issues, technology road-map strategies, new initiatives, whilst managing both internal and external IT service expectations.
Day-to-day responsibilities will also include:
  • Executing performance reviews on Service Delivery to ensure the services delivered by Group IT are in line with what has been agreed (Service SLA and Project definition).
  • Monitoring of the delivery of services against agreed schedule, quality, scope, and budgets.
  • Understanding business requirements, qualify demands including business benefit analysis, compliance, establish close communication to business stakeholders on all aspects of IT, e.g., service delivery quality, project status, financials, monthly forecasting etc.
  • Acting as the escalation point when issues arise and manage any dispute or conflict; support Major Incident process (facilitating, communication).
  • Ensuring monthly reviews are undertaken and updating IT related key figures, e.g., quantities for service consumption or licensing needs together with IT Controlling and Group IT experts.

For your application to be successful, you will have experience building effective business relationships and stakeholder engagement to enable best practice processes and encourage collaborative connections amongst business units. You will be an experienced leader, capable in managing a team focused on delivering Level 1 and Level 2 support. My client is looking for a self-starter, a strong influencer with good knowledge of IT project management, relationship or stakeholder management and service management principles, including Lean/Agile, and best practice delivery methods. You will also have solid SAP or ERP (Salesforce, Oracle) experience, and ideally you will be ITIL certified.
