Director of Brand Communications & Customer Experience

A publicly listed business entity, our client is run by an inspiring MD in the local market who has an equal passion for premium customer service, product development and luxury customer experience. To support her with driving objectives in this space, she is looking to appoint a Director of Brand Communications and Customer Experience to her SLT to lead this critically important function within the local business.
The Role
This role presents an exciting opportunity to support an already successful business and have a fundamental impact on their next phase of growth. Highly strategic in nature this role will see you leading four direct reports and an overall team of 13 people sitting across Brand, Customer Experience, Retail Marketing, Comms & Insight and Customer Service. The key focus will be to lead the businesses client facing engagement across multiple channels including marketing communications, experiential, public relations and direct to client calls and eDMs. The role will work closely with all areas of the business to ensure the brands have purposeful, measurable and impactful interactions with clients at each stage through the funnel, driving compelling stories across all owned and paid media platforms as well as offline and through retail channels.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for a seasoned senior marketing leader who is a mature operator and, who has developed their track record in a B2C environment, ideally within luxury product or high end service organisations. Industries such as jewellery, luxury retail, consumer electronics, automotive or hotels for example, would be of interest. You could also have come from agency where you have supported clients in this area. Key to your success will be your entrepreneurial, growth mindset and your solid knowledge of full funnel customer lifecycle marketing, performance marketing and what levers to pull to shift the dial, understanding how to develop customer experience through each touchpoint. In addition, you will be a strong leader and collaborator who has advanced stakeholder management capability and who can roll up their sleeves and thrive in a team environment.
