GM of Operations
Six Degrees are partnering exclusively with an Australian owned medium sized fresh food business in recruiting their General Manager of Operations. Take on full P&L responsibility for all operations including; Manufacturing, Quality, NPD, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales & Finance.
An exciting opportunity to lead all operations onsite within the western suburbs. Play a lead role as the business looks to go through a significant period of investment, setting up the business for long term sustained success.
Be the key stakeholder in continuing to drive the culture forward for the site and invest in its people by playing a supporting role with regards to upskilling, coaching and training.
As the General Manager of Operations you have the ability to think strategically and make smart business decisions while also leading the day to day operations of the site. You have a strong level of commercial acumen while being an engaging people oriented senior leader.
What will you need to be successful?
• Experience in similar leadership roles in Food manufacturing or related industries
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related discipline
• Experience at the Senior Operations leadership level
• People leader with a proven ability to achieve results and drive profitability
• Ability to think strategically across all functions within operations
