About the role
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the Demand, Supply and Logistics functions including leadership and development of a team of six. Responsible for ensuring the availability of product, through effective planning and customer supply chain activities, the role will also foster a collaborative partnership with the commercial team and to drive best in class outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Management of the Demand and Supply Planning, Customer Service, Logistics and Inventory Management functions
• Drive performance across the team through training and development of existing team members
• Identification of initiatives to reduce cost and improve efficiency along with engagement with both suppliers and key customers to align on strategic priorities
• Partnership with the commercial team to facilitate an effective sales and operations planning cycle
Skills + experience
• Proven experience across either planning or logistics within an FMCG environment
• Strong understanding of grocery supply chain and associated metrics for success
• Prior experience in leading a team and ability to develop, coach and enhance performance
• Exceptional communication, collaboration and influencing skills
