About the Role
This position involves managing and interacting with retailers and multi-site groups in the Pet Specialty market. As a Territory Manager your responsibilities will encompass promoting and educating pet specialty businesses on KONG’s range of products. You'll be tasked with maintaining current customer relationships, driving growth in your territory, cultivating new partnerships, ensuring top-notch client service, and balancing work between the wider NSW, Sydney, and home base. Approximately one week of regional travel per month is required.
Skills and Experience Required
To excel in this role, a solid understanding of retail sales and commercials, proficiency in shelf management and merchandise principles, and experience in in-store promotional negotiations and costings are crucial. The ideal candidate is motivated by sales success, goal-oriented, and adept at creative problem-solving. With a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, a background in the pet specialty channel is preferred but not mandatory. Exceptional relationship-building skills and an ability to connect with diverse individuals will play a pivotal role in your success. This role requires a passion for pets!
