Our client is a B2B wholesale distributor with manufacturing overseas, based in the southeast suburbs of Melbourne who are looking for a Finance Manager to start in January.
About the role
The Finance Manager role will initially be a 6-month contract role with an opportunity for permanency and/or extension. Reporting into the CFO, this position will eventually be responsible in managing a team spread across Australia, Philippines and China.
Exposure to manufacturing and cost accounting will be an advantage in this role but not required. This is a hands on role where you will be responsible for implementing processes, reporting including P&L, balance sheet and month end management. Our client is looking for someone who has had experience working in a team that is multicultural and spread geographically. You need to have a cool head, high attention to detail and be able to working autonomously.
Systems used include Xero, with a system implementation planned in 2024.

About you
- Previous experience in manufacturing, wholesale distribution, desirable
- CPA/CA qualification required
- Hybrid role
- Available to start in mid Jan
