Riviana Foods is a leading importer and distributor of food product with a diverse SKU range and a long history locally, with over 70 years of bringing the world's tastes to our shores. This SunRice Group business continues to grow into new markets and is looking to add a junior technical professional to their team of 4, reporting into a QA Manager.
About the role
The Product Quality Assistant sits within the corproate Quality team. This role would be best suited to a junior food scientist or quality professional with circa 1-2 years of operational experience. As a corporate quality role you will be supporting corrective actions to supplier NCRs, actioning customer complaints/enquiries and supporting the approved supplier program by overseeing external certification management.
The role reports director to the Quality Manager as part of a QA team of 4, based at the company's Chadstone offices. Riviana supports hybrid working arrangements, with 3 days office based working and 2 days of WFH on offer.
What we are looking for
- Tertiary qualificaitons in food science or similar
- 1 to 2 years of operational or corporate quality experience
- confident communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
