About the Role:
In this role, as Marketing Business Partner, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, with a focus on tailoring them to the specific nuances of the Australian market while aligning them with plans in New Zealand. This role is ideal for a seasoned marketer with a strong customer focus and experience in the retail space. You will be the sole marketer in Australia, collaborating with the Melbourne-based team and managing retail branches across the country.
Additionally, as the Marketing Business Partner, you will serve as the account manager for all retail branches across Australia, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Your financial acumen will be put to use as you manage marketing budgets, tracking performance metrics and providing regular reports to key stakeholders. To maintain brand consistency and strengthen relationships, you will conduct branch visits twice a year, fostering a proactive approach to marketing that moves beyond mere reactivity. Your strategic vision and hands-on approach will be pivotal in driving this transition towards more proactive marketing activities, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Skills and Experience:
-3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the retail space.
- Trade marketing/retail marketing skillset.
-A team player with the ability to work independently.
- Strong customer-focused decision-making approach.
- Adaptable communication style with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Excellent client services skills, including account and franchisee management.
- Ability to set and drive a 12-month marketing plan for branches.
- Willingness to travel interstate and regionally.
- Background in agriculture, equipment, hardware, franchises, or related industries is a plus.
