About the role
Reporting to the Head of Product, this newly created role is responsible for all aspects of product engineering and the full product lifecycle management of a high profile, growing product range. The role will ensure that the premium product is delivered to the customer, whilst meeting the requirements of all external and internal stakeholders including providing proactive support for Sales.  Critically, this role will identify business improvement opportunities within the product range; and will lead market analysis to support short, medium and long term planning.  You will also be responsible for:
  • Providing technical guidance and relevant technical data and develop any needed technical documentation for defined applications
  • Provide technical advisory and product-based direction to the sales team and zone managers and consult with relevant resources as required
  • Validate product specifications in the application design
  • Recommend the most viable and cost-effective suppliers to be engaged in the build process
  • Audit successful completion of prototype which meets all stakeholder’s expectations
  • Provide information / training on Product Release to key stakeholders on product build / performance parameters (including but not limited to customers and dealers)
  • Identify requirements for change of specifications / details across different mediums (web, spec sheets, etc.) for products managed
  • Keep informed of supplier innovations and ‘best fit’ solutions to satisfy all stakeholder expectations and increase sales opportunities.
