The Role:
The role of the Commercial Analyst involves offering analytical and technical assistance to the Commercial Manager. The main responsibility of this role is to conduct financial performance and market analysis across various brands and retailers. The insights derived from this analysis will play a pivotal role in shaping and guiding the business's decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and category teams to analyze market trends, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
  • Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into business performance and support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models to evaluate the impact of various initiatives on profitability.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Generate actionable reports and dashboards to communicate key performance indicators to cross-functional teams.
Person Specification:
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Analyst.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with sales, marketing, and category teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication skills.
