Are you an experienced financial expert looking for your next challenge? We're currently seeking a Senior Financial Accountant for a fantastic opportunity with a leading FMCG/Food Retail Business.

Primary Objectives: As a Senior Financial Accountant, your main responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial accounting records. This role involves monitoring cash positions, mentoring team members, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Receivable: Oversee accurate sales recording, reconcile receivables, and manage intercompany accounts promptly.
  • Financial Reporting: Lead bank reconciliations, month-end close activities, and support audits.
  • Treasury Management: Monitor daily cash positions, liaise with stakeholders, and resolve banking issues. Prepare monthly cash flow reconciliation.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, ensuring administrative records are maintained efficiently.
  • Project Management: Lead various initiatives such as new store openings, brand rollouts, and system implementations.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
  • Tertiary education in Accounting/Business studies.
  • Full CPA/CA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Previous experience in team leadership is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle high-volume transactions.
  • Advanced Excel skills are required.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining high work standards.
