About the role:
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Marketing Manager will be accountable for the 360 marketing strategy through to execution. Managing a team of 2 along with agency partners, you will be responsible for growing market share, driving revenue, improving the customer experience both offline and online and generating customer retention. We are looking for a strong digital marketing that is very passionate about the hospitality industry and has the ability to identify gaps and generating impactful ideas.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Drive the marketing strategy and manage the campaign and activity calendar
  • Develop all marketing material for venues and ensure consistent messaging and tone of voice; digital content, social media, print material, brand collateral
  • Regular website updates, EDM production and distribution and keeping across reservation schedule to drive tactical campaigns
  • Manage all stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met – go to market planning
  • Manage marketing team (social media and graphic design)
  • Manage agency partners (creative, media, PR)
  • Lead customer acquisition and retention strategy
  • Lead digital marketing strategy (performance marketing key)
  • Data analysis to influence decisions and drive outcomes (identify gaps and opportunities, test and learn)
  • Budget management ensuring optimum ROI
  • Work on a quarterly calendar and generate great ideas to drive optimal bookings across all 7 venues
  • Reporting on marketing efforts ensure targets are hit
  • Identify opportunities to collaborate with external stakeholders; business collabs, influencers etc.
Key requirements: 
  • 3+ years' marketing experience, ideally within hospitality, tourism, entertainment industry (reservations/bookings led)
  • A passion for Melbourne culture, eating out, food, youth culture, fashion etc.
  • Ideally understand booking systems i.e. SevenRooms for marketing and operational efficiency
  • Ideally some experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Strong digital marketing skillset - website, social, EDMs
  • Agency management experience – creative, media, PR, digital
  • Highly analytical, proven experience driving business decisions backed by data
  • Budget management skills
  • Finger on the pulse with latest digital marketing trends/platforms
  • Young at heart, team player, self motivated
  • In tune with current trends – understand the young professionals, city culture demographic
  • Exceptional communication skills
