Reporting into the Chief Marketing Officer, the role of the Brand Manager will focus on the development of the long-term brand strategy and execution of a creative and innovative marketing plan. About the role:
Reporting into the Chief Marketing Officer, the role of the Brand Manager will focus on the development of the long-term brand strategy and execution of a creative and innovative marketing plan. This full-time role is based in South Melbourne, calling out for an upbeat personality with a passion for hospitality and marketing that delivers results.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute innovative consumer promotions, marketing campaigns and
- guest experience initiatives in line with the agreed marketing strategic plan and
- budget
- Monitor campaign effectiveness against agreed KPIs. Complete post campaign
- analysis and make recommendations based on key learnings
- Support product development function, including category innovation across all
- menus and campaign launches
- Oversee objectives and briefings for creative, media, PR and other agency partners
- as required
- Oversee creation of new brand assets including photography / video for marketing
- campaigns and menus
- Work closely with key suppliers, partners and agencies to strengthen relationships
- and execute joint campaigns and events
- Develop effective internal communications to inform broader team on marketing
- campaigns and development
- Support refinement of The TGI Fridays brand, delivering consistent visual language
- and tone of voice across all platforms
- Support development of key restaurant touchpoints, including décor, packaging and
- POS hardware
- Monitor, analyse and evaluate market trends, consumer behaviour, category trends
- and other external factors to maximise marketing effectiveness
- Provide input into national marketing budget forecast and end of month
- reconciliation
- Promote best practice within the Marketing department and constantly look to
- improve processes and procedures
Key requirements:
- 5 years’ experience in brand marketing and advertising
- Degree qualified in marketing or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in building brand equity and increasing sales through marketing initiatives
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated leadership qualities that can influence the team and stakeholders
- Creative, lateral thinker and problem solver
- Attention to detail
- Planning and organising
