This organisation ar at the cutting edge of technology in the renewable energy sector in Australia and globally. They are building technology that will harness the energy and turn it into carbon neutral electricity. As the organisation continues to build momentum they are looking for a GM Manufacturing to help them on their journey.
The General Manager of manufacturing will oversee the manufacture and supply of components for use in the organisations renewable energy projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery. You will establish manufacturing operations, define technical requirements, manage cross-functional teams, and provide strategic direction for project management.

Responsibilities include
  • sourcing, manufacturing, delivery, installation, and quality assurance of products.
  • designing automated manufacturing plants.
  • defining procedures for rapid, low-cost installation of OEM products.
  • managing project time-lines and resourcing requirements.
  • establishing quality and document control processes, implementing licensing requirements.
  • leading a cross-functional team, maintaining positive team dynamics, and ensuring staff have necessary competencies and skills.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
  •  Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, or Operations Management
  •  Postgraduate qualifications in business management
  •  Proven track record in leading manufacturing operations in Australia
  •  Experience in manufacturing and assembly of high precision products
  •  Strong problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of Australian quality and EHS standards
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and team management skills
  • High integrity, work ethic, and ability to inspire and empower teams
