About the Role:
My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Engineer to join their team in Brisbane. In this role, you will design and support production processes across all Australian operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will play a key role in optimizing production efficiency, facilitating the transfer of competencies to build and maintain equipment, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Role & Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing processes and layouts based on lean principles and assist engineering with assembly process design.
- Plan project schedules and create detailed work and assembly packages for equipment and processes.
- Formulate standard procedures, and calculate and estimate production times, cycle time reductions, and cost savings.
- Improve production processes, conduct workshops, and resolve problems efficiently.
- Travel regionally and internationally to share knowledge and train third-party contractors in equipment assembly.
- Follow workplace health and safety regulations, perform quality system audits, and implement innovative and sustainable practices.
Experience
- Developing processes and procedures for assembling industrial components.
- Establishing standard procedures and calculating production times.
- Applying Lean manufacturing principles, VSM, and optimizing production processes.
- Implementing techniques to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Managing new technology implementation and overseeing project management.
- Proficient in using ACAD, SAP, or similar data management systems.
