Our client is a global FMCG business and one of Australia’s leading branded food exporters, listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, with significant markets in the United States, the Pacific and the Middle East, as well as expanding markets across Europe and Asia.
About the role
The National Business Manager – Pacific will contribute to the Pacific Region strategy, with a focus on problem /opportunity identification and resolution as well as playing the central role in developing and executing the plans in collaboration with the regional distributor teams.
The role has a high degree of complexity largely driven by the breadth of markets (18 Pacific countries) that are constantly evolving with the impact of competition and consumer trends pertaining to consumption, usage, and preference.
About you
You are degree qualified with 5+ years of experience in account/category management within the consumer-packaged goods/ food industry. Experience with distributors or food ingredients or major retail customers is essential.
You have demonstrated success in driving successful commercial outcomes, are a strong communicator with excellent project management skills.
You are skilled at achieving results through others (ie distribution partners), market execution, building brands and putting insights into action.
