Senior Finance Business Partner / Finance Manager

This opportunity is with an innovative technology business who are continuing to grow their product range and market share both domestically and abroad. Working in a small head office team you will be joining an entrepreneurial leadership team who are focused on the ongoing growth of their market share and product offering. 

As the No 1 finance person you will oversee the offshore team that handle the transactional function and you will also lead 1 support person in the Sydney office. This is a hands on role with a focus on business partnering, cash flow management, project accounting and supporting the rolling monthly budget. 

Key to your success will be:
  • Developing financial forecasts.·     
  • Ensuring adherence to financial compliance through meticulous financial monitoring.·     
  • Conducting in-depth analysis of revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets.·     
  • Collaborating with management to inform and facilitate sound financial decision-making.
Ideally you will have extensive experience in the IT/Technology sector and be used to the hands on nature of an SME. Above all else to be successful in this role/organisation it will come down to your soft skills which include:

  • Your ability to communicate effectively to non finance stakeholders
  • Your ability to work with ambiguity
  • You will be a high energy individual who will be able to build strong relationships quickly
  • You will be resilient and be able to push through the ups and downs of a SME.
