About the role
The Maintenance Manager will steer the maintenance and reliability program on site, managing a team of 10+ mixed trades professionals across a multi-shift environment. With the business looking to continually invest in their operations and strive for best practice maintenance behaviours, you'd be joining with a significant appetite to elevate the maintenance function, supporting multiple internal customers.
Essential in this role will be strong stakeholder management capability, with a core mandate in the role including driving increased accountability and performance in the team. We will be looking for a leader who can equally be involved in shop-floor activities and drive the overarching strategy, blending short term performance and long-term vision. With a strong CI minset prevalent in the organisation, you will have significant internal backing to bring about positive change in pushing for stronger productivity and performance.

Skills and Experience
With this being a critical role in the business, we are looking for the following core skills and experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualification - open to either Degree or Trade background in Engineering, mechanical, electrical/similar.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within a maintenance function - 5 years leading teams being the desired level.
- Strong understanding of technical maintenance subject matter - maintenance management, preventative maintenance and reliability programs. Proven experience implementing both systems and strategies ideal.
- FMCG industry background would be most relevant, with food preferred but similar settings such as plastics and packaging also considered
- Commercial nous - centred around the development and management of a maintenance budget
