GM of Commercial
In 2018 the merger of Turi Foods and OSI Australia created the company known today as Turosi Food Solutions. An exciting player in the highly complex space of poultry food production, this merge has enabled the attainment of mutual goals and on-going success in market in the Retail and Away From Home space.
Now with an impressive share globally across the grocery, QSR and Foodservice channels, the business is structuring to drive further expansion through channel, innovation and production growth. Currently a $1.0b business, they have aspirations to be in the top 5 FMCG companies in the world and are looking at bringing in the talent to achieve this. A pivotal role in leading the strategy to reach this growth target will be the GM of Commercial position reporting directly in the CEO, leading the sales and marketing team.
This is a role that offers not only a drivers seat in what is a crucial time of business evolution but a chance to join an organisation committed to leading the industry in terms of production technology, quality product and customer relationships. You will be the visionary for the overall commercial strategy and effectively empower the team to deliver on the facilitation of this plan across all customer groups and market opportunities. Operating across multiple production sites, this role is highly cross functional requiring the need to engage and inspire creative and commercial activity across operations, account management, innovation planning and brand development.
The experience profile we are seeking for this role is an individual coming from food manufacturing having held a senior level commercial role incorporating leading all sales, marketing and NPD activity. Your organisational experience will be within a supplier that has a broad offering of some of the worlds biggest brands and private label supply. Experience across multiple channels is required with a strong understanding of driving success within the retail, QSR and Foodservice customers. Exposure to international markets and export management will also be favourable.
