Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:
  • Oversee Product Modifications: Manage engineering changes aimed at improving product quality or addressing customer and market demands.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis: Identify and resolve quality issues throughout the manufacturing and inspection processes.
  • Investigate Quality Feedback: Analyze and address quality concerns raised by the sales team through testing, statistical analysis, and detailed reporting.
  • Support Supplier Communication: Ensure suppliers receive the correct specifications and maintain smooth communication between our international and local teams.
  • Manage Product Warranties: Ensure that all products meet stringent warranty specifications and contribute to reducing warranty claims.
  • Prepare Non-Conformance Reports: Draft precise reports and Corrective Action Requests (CARs) to ensure effective containment and resolution of quality issues.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to industry compliance standards, including WELS, Watermark, and relevant water authorities.
  • Maintain Quality Documentation: Create and manage essential quality documentation, including control plans, sample plans, and database management within TQM systems.
What You Bring to the Role:

To excel in this position, you should have:
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, with strong knowledge in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
  • Industry Experience: 4-5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within product development or manufacturing.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with our international manufacturing partners.
  • Relevant Industry Experience: Experience in the plumbing industry, particularly in products such as tapware, is highly valued.
  • Personal Attributes: A positive attitude, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Additional Skills: A Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification will be a significant advantage.
