Signature Hospitality Group is a national hospitality developer with a portfolio of brands including Sporting Globe, TGI Fridays and Varsity. Bringing the American restaurant and bar culture to the Australian market, they now operate 50 venues across the country and continue to grow.
 
About the role:
Reporting into the CMO, the Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development of the long-term brand strategy and execution of a creative and innovative marketing plan for the Sporting Globe business. We are looking for an upbeat personality with a passion for sport, hospitality and strategic marketing that delivers results.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for the Sporting Globe brand outlining campaigns and strategy to increase brand awareness and drive business
  • Maintain and enhance The Sporting Globe's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and touchpoints
  • Develop and implement digital strategy to ensure the brand is state-of-the-art in its implementation of technology to increase brand awareness, customer visitation and in-venue experience
  • Develop and continually update a yearly marketing calendar outlining all marketing efforts and when they will occur to present to the business, franchise partners and venue managers
  • Manage The Sporting Globe’s public image and reputation through media relations and PR efforts.
  • Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment
  • Develop the strategic marketing plans for new venue openings, new menus and NPD
  • Use data-driven insights to understand customer preferences and tailor marketing strategies accordingly
  • Stay updated on industry trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats
  • Develop the overall marketing budget for the business ensuring accurate estimation of spend for the period and effective allocation of resources
  • Build strong working relationships with Franchise Partners, and venues teams ensuring seamless execution of marketing initiatives 
  • Conduct sales analysis for each group wide campaign, launch or incentive to quantify ROI and present results to CMO and Finance Reviews
 
Key Requirements: 
  • 7 years’ experience in marketing management
  • Experience leading a senior marketing team in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or post graduate qualification in Marketing or other relevant discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in building brand equity and increasing sales through marketing initiatives
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and people leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Creative, lateral thinker and problem solver
  • Attention to detail, highly organised
  • Self motivated, ability to influencer and motivate others
