This consumer products business is the leader in many of the markets in which they trade and boasts significant yearly revenue which continues to grow. Critical to their next phase of growth is the transformation of their planning function which will unlock capacity, improve visibility across the network, and allow for an optimised supply chain function.

About the role
The Head of Sales & Operations Planning will lead the development of a consolidated S&OP framework and establish a stable and efficient planning cycle across multiple streams which will deliver opportunities for value creation across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities include:
• Coach, develop and bring on the transformation journey a group of direct and indirect reports across multiple locations
• Embed consistent best practice planning processes and foster effective collaboration across a broad commercial stakeholder group
• Deploy and maintain new supply strategies which will lead to optimised inventory, DIFOT target achievement, and the unlocking of capacity across the network
• Development of an appropriate supply chain scorecard to assess and measure the success of enhancements to the function 

Skills & Experience
Suitability for the role will be assessed on applicant's demonstrable success in delivering a transformation program which covers planning process and systems. Having seen best in class, yet also comfortable working in an environment without it, your technical strengths will be accompanied by a collaborative style that can influence effectively across a large and complex stakeholder group.
