Our client is a privately owned food manufacturing business with a reputation for quality and innovation. Operating across multiple channels, including grocery retail and food service, the company is poised for its next phase of expansion. With recent investment in their manufacturing footprint, they are now seeking a dynamic and commercially savvy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the business to new heights.


Your Role

As CEO, you will report to the Chair and be responsible for:
  • Developing and executing a strategic vision that drives business growth and market expansion.
  • Leading a high-performing executive team across all business functions including Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR, Finance.
  • Strengthening relationships with major grocery retailers and food service customers and building innovation across multiple categories.
  • Driving operational efficiencies in manufacturing and supply chain.
  • Ensuring financial performance through disciplined cost management and revenue growth.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and compliance.
About You
  • Proven experience as a CEO or GM in a food manufacturing business.
  • Deep expertise in multi-channel food distribution, including grocery retail and food service across branded and private label.
  • A track record of growing revenue and EBITDA.
  • Hands-on leadership style, able to drive cultural and operational transformation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, ideally having reported to an independent privately owned board.
  • Passion for brand building and retail expansion.

  • Revenue Growth – Expand market share across grocery retail and food service.
  • EBITDA Growth – Deliver strong financial results through operational efficiency and strategic execution.
  • Operational Excellence – Optimise manufacturing productivity and supply chain performance.
