Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities across manufacturing, retail, corporate and logistics industries.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Business Development Managers, setting clear targets and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with key clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders to drive sustainable revenue growth.
- Oversee the full sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure, ensuring a seamless client experience.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance) to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
- Proven experience in a senior business development, sales, or commercial leadership role within manufacturing, logistics, or a related service sector.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing, target-driven sales teams.
- Strong track record of securing new business and building long-term client relationships.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability-comfortable operating at both the tactical and strategic level.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
