The Opportunity:
We are seeking a commercially astute and hands-on Head or GM of Sales & Marketing to lead the organisation’s national commercial strategy. This appointment represents a pivotal role for a proactive, outcome-driven leader ready to elevate combined sales and marketing performance.
You will drive integration between commercial and marketing functions, applying structure, analytics, and insight-driven decision-making to support sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a robust national sales and marketing strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
- Strengthen lead generation, conversion, and retention processes through a unified commercial approach.
- Build accurate, data-driven sales forecasts and performance frameworks across all markets.
- Reposition marketing to become a results-oriented, insight-led partner to sales.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to deliver a three-year growth roadmap targeting significant revenue expansion.
- Create a culture of accountability, performance, and empowerment across geographically dispersed teams.
You are an experienced commercial leader who balances strategic vision with hands-on execution. You bring clarity, structure, and inspiration to teams—driving results without losing sight of culture or purpose.
Your background will include:
- You will be an experienced sales and marketing leader, including holding senior leadership roles within complex fast-growing organisations in both corpoate and SME environments
- A proven track record in driving scalable business growth and commercial transformation.
- Local experience working within industrial manufacturing, building materials, or project-based A&D environments – Residential & Commercial
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to transform insights into actionable strategies.
- Resilience, integrity, and adaptability in leading through change.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, or a related discipline.
