Software Engineer / Control Systems

We are partnering with a leading Australian Automation and robotics organisation that have been providing smart solutions to the food, industrial and beverage production sectors for over 50 years. 

Working as the Software Engineer you will play a key role in delivering data-driven solutions for industrial automation projects within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. This position requires expertise in integrating OT (Operational Technology) and IT systems, developing scalable software solutions, and ensuring seamless connectivity between plant-floor equipment and enterprise-level systems. The role will involve working at our Seven Hills facility as well as customer sites, which may include occasional weekends and public holidays to support project delivery and commissioning activities.

The role involves:
  • Design & development of solutions and databases
  • Integration of PLC's, MES and SCADA systems
  • Write code for Rockwell Automation, Siemens & TIA portals
  • Enable real time data gathering and analysis
To be successful in this role you will possess;
  • Strong background in industrial Automation
  • Database design and SQL query
  • PLC programming (Rockwell / Siemens) 
  • C# & Python for custom applications
